Once one of the top three largest shopping malls in the world, Century III Mall in West Mifflin, PA sat vacant and deteriorating for years after closing in 2019.
After years of planning, legal hurdles, and environmental remediation, Neiswonger Construction was awarded the contract to complete the full demolition and site clearing of the property.
Demolition began in 2024 with the removal of parking structures and initial site work. Today, only a small portion of the structure remains, as crews focus on removing the final sections, processing materials on-site, and preparing the property for its next phase of redevelopment.
